DCT6200 FIREWIRE DRIVER

I have not checked ppv but all the "premium" channels I have work fine. I am using 2 shaw dct's with VMC not sage but I'm thinking about switching The firewire port IS active and will work for channel change and capture. Fedora 22, Myth 0. Share Share this post on Digg Del. The box accepts all Firewire commands, but does nothing with most of them, so you need an IR blaster for power and channel changing. If you are using the TI chip set then I am going to assume the issue is not the firewire chipset for now.

Tune channel, press power button the put box in standby and then press "OK" twice to bring up menu or use scanfw from mythbuntu.

Recorded Scrubs and Nova last night Scrubs was fine - haven't checked Nova. Ask a question about this product.

I'll also try some load testing when I get some time next weekend. The time now is I have Basic HD in Calgary and channels came in fine.

Channel change with "mythchanger -f 7 -c" MythTV internal changer did not work. I let them know they were in violation of FCC ruling and would be filing complaint.

You can also record directly to your PC with the above model using firewire.

If there are still problems I'll try substituting a new firewire card to see if that makes a difference.

Some channels are always problematic, some give no problems. I switched after it stopped working. Some channels have 5C issues, others are really blocky with huge green dct66200 across much of the screen. If it still can be done i'll buy ddct6200 firewire card and give it a try. Jul 23, Posts: I am seeing two occasion problems: I get a partial lock on a select few of my premium chans with boxes in broadcast mode at mbps i have 3x tuners in total using the dct in a daisy chain with the dcx at the end of the chain. Capture of these channels die with the PAT too large error. Above the button it will say something like you require VLC to be in the applications folder of your mac.

No 5c channels YET. I had to add the info for this cable box to ch and use it to change channels, but everything is working very well ect6200.

I now have renewed interest in seeing if this is reliable. Using Point-to-Point everything works perfectly.

All very fifewire and glitchy. I need to run for a while to see if this helps since the problem is dch6200. Using P2P at Mbps, it provides a solid picture on broadcast channels, but does not include basic cable channels though they are picked up with a cable card tuner.
